Walter is a Tax Partner with Mercanti e Associati, graduated in Economics at the University of Torino (Italy), he got his Adv. LL.M. in International Taxation from Leiden University (The Netherlands) and attended further specialization post-graduate courses at the New York University School of Law (US). Before joining Mercanti e Associati he practiced for several years with tier 1 Italian and international firms. He is an active member of the IFA (International Fiscal Association), he is teaching specific courses at the International Tax Center Leiden (The Netherlands) and in other distinguished postgraduate courses in Europe, and an author of articles on international tax matters.

Walter has a vast experience with cross-border direct and indirect taxation issues of Multinational companies and elaboration of transfer pricing policies, HNWI tax planning and real estate tax optimization.
